Strategic Leadership Coaching
1. Diagnosis Process
Purpose: To evaluate the cultural climate within schools and community settings and recommend improvements to foster inclusivity.
How: By collecting data from various community members and presenting results to systems-level leaders to be used for system-wide changes.
2. Building Leader Support:
Purpose: To empower school leaders with the knowledge and tools to create inclusive and belonging-centered educational environments.
How: By offering personalized coaching to school leaders, they can develop strategies that promote a sense of connectedness within their schools. The goals are to remove obstacles for the school leader to address head-on issues related to belonging within their institutions, ultimately fostering a culture of connectedness.
3. Consulting on Inclusive Educational Environments:
Purpose: To provide consultation services for teachers and leaders explicitly around students with a variety of learning needs or children who sit outside of the majority for reasons that include - but are not exclusive to - ability, gender or gender expression, learning style, race, and other identity markers or lived experiences.
How: By creating and implementing a plan of action with opportunities for data collection, communication, and collaboration after gaining a deep understanding of specific student profiles and understanding how they fit within different schooling contexts, a plan of action with opportunities for data collection, communication, and collaboration is created and implemented.
